Jude was the half brother of Jesus, but he calls himself merely "a servant of Christ". He became a follower of Jesus Christ after the resurrection. (Other brothers and sisters of Jesus never believed.) Jude began to see a drift in the early church away from sound doctrine-Jude 1:4. He wrote the book of Jude in response to believers who were floundering. Jude is written to believers-Jude 1:1 The beginning of Jude explains three key concepts of Christianity: 1.
